This issue happens because there is an apache limit to how many POST arguments will be accepted.
So with 200 eps, that is at least 400 checkboxes that is getting send back to the server. Which then cuts off the rest.
So even if you think you are only marking a few checkboxes, you are actually still sending ALL the checkboxes that are visible in your browser, when you press save.
It is possible to mark ALL episodes - you just need to know how.
Instead of listing or marking several hundred eps at a time - Use FILTERS.
Do the following as a test:
Go to the show page of the show you wanna update:
You just press the showname/link of the show anywhere you see it on the site, this will redirect you to the show's page: (This example is Conan)
http://www.myepisodes.com/views.php?type=epsbyshow&showid=7300
- Remove the show. (This will clear all episode markings for this show)
- Re-add the show.
- Set the filter to:
[x] Acquire, [x] Filter
- Press the filter button.
This filter will just "hide" all episodes you have already aquired and watched - there realy is no need to show or list them - you have acquired & watched them anyway.
With the filter setup:
- Mark ONE season at a time. (Just press the top W checkbox)
- Press SAVE!
Now the season will be marked as acquired & watched.
Go through each season, until you are up to date.
Note that if you just marked the entire first season of a show as acquired & watched, this season will now be hidded, and the listed Season at the top will now be the second season of the show.
Please understand that hiding the watched & acquired episodes is just a display filter. The status of the episodes will still count on "Time Waisted" or anywhere the data/status is used on the site.
Once you are "up to date" with old shows, setup the filters on the other pages, then you should be able to use Quick Check, All-In-One etc. without issues.
So use filters, hope this helps you guys. |
