I just discovered this site, and let me just say I love it! In the past, I've kept track of acquired/watched shows and episode numbers with a spreadsheet. That spreadsheet contained links to the source, schedules, etc, and I'd move season/episode/date/title info from the "next" to the "watched" columns after watching something, then update the "next" information using those sources. Using MyEpisodes makes this so much easier.
Even though I'm not quite ready to give up my spreadsheet, I *have* added a MyEpisodes column, right next to the TVRage column. Example contents are like this:
hyperlink("http://www.tvrage.com/House", "TVR")
hyperlink("http://www.myepisodes.com/views.php?type=epsbyshow&showid=57", "MyE")
The link for TVRage works fine, but the one to MyEpisodes always throws me back to http://www.myepisodes.com/login.php?u=views.php and prompts me to log in again. Maybe it's a cookie problem, but entering the address in a new browser tab always works fine. Seem more like an issue with HTTP_REFERER or something. In my experimentation, I created a hyperlink in a Microsoft Word document and had exactly the same results.
Any suggestions to make this work? |
