This would really be handy if it could integrate into iCal so I can see the shows in my regular calendar device. |

Outlook uses a proprietary software package for Outlook, (read: Microsoft doesn't want to work or play well with others), whereas iCal, Sunbird and other iCal calendars use open-source code, making them very adaptable for such applications. |

Personally I dont know what format iCal supports, but i do know that MS Outlook supports bout .CVS format and XML so I cant see a problem in Putting up some kind of Exports function in the Calendar site.
The problem is to make is User Friendly. You will have to manual keep you calendar up to date, and you will have to take into a count that the series is updated differently so if you have a lot of series you can fast be in a situation where you need to update you calendar daily to keep it up to date whit MyEpisodes Now that is not very User Friendly and is easily made more powerful by simply using the RSS feeds |

Yes, exactly. Outlook isn't very user friendly. iCal compliant calendars have a nifty feature called "subscribe" which downloads the calendar to a webdav server. Anytime you make changes to the calendar, they are reflected automatically and immediately on the server.
All you need is to know the subscription URL and you can subscribe to any calendar. With a single click, the calendar then pops up in iCal (or Sunbird, or whichever) as a viewable calendar right along with your other calendars (personal, work, etc).
The really neat thing is that iCal (et al) automatically looks for updates at a user-defined interval. Therefore, it is always up-to-date.

The last post on how to create one is great if you have a php site! But having My Episodes do it for you, like the RSS feed, would be GREAT! Please do it! I'll even donate if you implement it, and I'm sure the others would too... if thats what it takes! |

ical would be nice. Then if the entry contained an [a] [w] boxes on the subject line you could update them in your calendar software and have the entry reflect in myepisodes |

Outlook can import an iCal file (.ics)
MicroSlop may not play nice with others, but iCalendar does ! |

Was about to post a topic requesting iCal support but this was already here
Let's hope this will be implemented in MyEpisodes as I don't want to start using Swedish-language http://www.tv-kalendern.se just for the iCal feature as I like MyEpisodes better. |
