It would be nice that the Specials be added. Food networks cake wars has a 6 episodes special that wont show up because it under specials. their are a lot more programs have the same problem Doctor Who and a few others.

The whole thing is messy because TVMaze have such a wide number of things covered under the "Specials" banner, i have raised this point with them, they have sneak peeks, previews, web episodes and a few other things as well as actual special episodes.

If IceMan were to change the coding on here to add specials, IMO he would need to add the option to ignore individual episodes first or the option to opt in/out of having specials listed, as users episode lists will be filled with all these "specials" alot of which will be junk. I use TVMaze as a backup to here and for the month of November alone i had 40 specials on my list not one of them were anything other than previews and web clips.

Has there been any update/thoughts on adding specials to the episode lists? I know there are some specials that aren't considering full length episodes but a lot of them actually follow along with the episode lists. Thanks

could you (or probably tvmaze) make up your mind about hollywood game night? there was a red nose day and a social distancing special, one week they're listed, then they get removed, then they get listed again and episode numbers get fucked up, new episodes get marked as watched because they now have different numbers.

Nothing we can do about that unfortunately, they seem to have settled on those episodes being specials, lets hope they stick with that.

I would also be very interested in this feature. I've come to depend on this site completely, so I totally missed out on several episodes (for instance South Park's Pandemic Special) until like a week ago :")

With the addition of significant specials to tvmaze, i think this is something that really needs to be added to the site.
