Incorrect seasoning and episodes for La casa de papel

For TV Show La casa de papel / Money Heist, seasons and episodes don't resonate with nor the spanish neither the netflix versioning.

It would be nice to at least match the number of episodes for Netflix edition.

Due to the way this show has been aired and primary production having switched from Antenna 3 to Neflix it has created a mess.

The show first aired on Antenna 3, it was 15 episodes split into two parts (9 and 6), so that is season 1, Netflix then purchased the rights and re-edited the episodes as they didn't like the 70 minute episodes that Antenna 3 had produced, so they created 22 episodes out of the original 15. Netflix then took over primary production of the show and released what they called part 3 of the show and then subsequently part 4.

So this is why we have this strange situation of not having a season 2, the listing on here always reflects who aired the show first, so that was Antenna 3 who produced season 1 with 15 episodes, then Netflix produced season (part) 3 and season (part) 4, to make it appear cleaner you could take the last 6 episodes of season 1 and make it into a season 2, but that is not accurate as Antenna 3 marketed the show as a 1 season 15 episode show.

Yes but if you are watching the Netflix version, as most people probably do, total number of episodes will differ, so the amount of time spent too. Then maybe create a new series called Money Heist with the Netflix episode numbering?

If you have watched the Netflix version, the episode total will be different, but the total time spent will be the same as nothing was cut from the Netflix episodes they just ended in different places.

Sites like this one use the api from tvdatabase sites like IMDB, tvmaze or tvdb, so we can't create our own listings we merely import the listings from these sites and none of them allow second entries to be created for the same show.

Every series with 45-50 minutes episodes are listed as 60 minutes episodes in MyEpisodes. La Casa de Papel as well, not 70 minutes as you say, while most of the episodes are around 50 minutes.
The first two seasons or whatever we call it now are consist of 15 episodes, while if you watch it on Netflix it is 22 episodes, so you will be 7 episodes short. It is pretty straightforward.
TheMovideDB lists both anyway...

I think there are parts in the Netflix version, which isn't in the spanish one. The same goes for La casa de papel. 3 and 6 episodes short in the first two seasons.

Each show has a episode length listed on its show page, but that is only a approx time especially in the case of streaming shows, each episode actually has its own length listed

These are the times that will be included in your time i have wasted total.

As i have said your episode total will be incorrect if you watched it via Netflix but your total episode time should be correct.

Unfortunately for shows that are reconfigured this is always going to create a problem as the episodes on tv listing sites are listed as they air/stream so if a new network then purchases the rights to a show and changes the episodes in anyway, whoever watched them via the new network is going to have a different experience tan those who watched it on its original network.

I am a big fan of this show myself and my watching history is messed up like yours is, i watched the first 13 on netflix and then the 2nd part of the 1st season - 6 episodes as they originally aired on Antenna 3, so i have 15 episodes marked as seen for season 1 but actually watched 19.
